This project seeks the reunification of Lakota children with their parents by creating a permanently supportive environment that fosters health and well-being.

Pyatt Studio facilitated a supportive housing design charrette utilizing the Enterprise Green Communities criteria with Lakota Child and Family, a non profit organization on the Rosebud Reservation. The charrette participants, which included Lakota Tribal members from the Rosebud Indian Reservation, worked together to design a facility that included multifamily housing, playground spaces, community gardens, retail spaces, and community buildings that would provide permanent access to support services like case management, education and training, and mental health treatment. The design team is working to develop the plan and provide support materials for a fundraising campaign.
